Childproofing SERVICES

Babies are inquisitive, fearless and curious and a home that is not “Child Friendly” can be dangerous.

To many parents, Childproofing can be nerve-racking and overwhelming. Some dangers such as electrical outlets, staircases or locking away chemicals may seem obvious. Other dangers may not be as apparent. Protect-A-Tot takes the guessing, stress and difficulty out of Childproofing.

• Each year, an average of 2,096 children ages 14 and under die as a result of a home injury.*
• In 2004, approximately 2,300 children ages 14 and under died from unintentional injuries that occurred in the home. Nearly 80 percent of these deaths were among children ages 4 and under.*
• For children less than 10 years of age, falls are among the top five causes of unintentional home injury death.*

Home Safety Evaluation
During our Home Safety Evaluation, our Safety Consultant helps parents identify dangers their children may face. Our Safety Consultant will provide a detailed Home Safety Inspection and assist parents on how to take proactive steps towards providing their child a safe and secure environment. He will assess possible problem areas throughout your home and educate you as to why those locations and/or items can be potentially harmful to your little loved one. Protect-A-Tot will then recommend Safety Solutions and how we may correct the issues with Childproofing. Depending of the size of your home, our Home Safety Evaluation takes approximately one hour. No job is too big or too small for Protect-A-Tot. Safety comes first regardless of the size of your home or budget.

Childproofing Products and Installation:
Not only does Protect-A-Tot Inc. retail Childproofing products, we also offer installation. 
This removes the challenge of installing such products as magnets locks and gates!
